iSuppli: 12.1 Million Units in 2011 CDMA iPhone

NEW YORK - Certainty of the largest U.S. telecom operator, Verizon, launching the latest series of iPhone is predicted to increase total output of Apple's smartphone shipments up to 33 percent. Thus the results of recent research agency business information, HIS iSuppli.

HIS iSuppli predicts Apple will sell approximately 12.1 million CDMA version of the iPhone through Verizon and other operators throughout 2011. NEW YORK - Motorola plans to separate itself into two companies, Motorola and Motorola's Mobility Solution, finally materialized recently.

facebook di desak oleh inggris agar pasang tombol panik

Dewan Inggris Untuk Keselamatan Anak-anak di Internet (UKCCIS), di London, Inggris, Selasa (23/3), mendesak situs jejaring sosial Facebook, untuk segera memasang tombol panik atau tombol keamanan, di setiap akun pemilik Facebook.

Kekhawatiran mengenai dampak negatif Facebook ini beralasan, sebab, pada Oktober 2009 lalu, seorang remaja Inggris bernama Ashleigh Hall dibunuh, setelah bertemu seorang yang dikenalnya lewat Facebook. Korban yang menyangka teman Facebooknya remaja, ternyata seorang residivis kejahatan seksual, berusia 32 tahun.

Sejak kasus itu, UKCCIS meluncurkan kampanye penyelamatan, yang salah satu isinya, mengusulkan penambahan tombol panik di sejumlah situs internet. Tombol ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk berkomunikasi dengan pusat perlindungan anak di Inggris.

Sementara itu pihak Facebook memutuskan, tidak akan memasang tombol panik, dengan alasan, sistem pelaporan kejahatan seksual yang selama ini digunakan, masih berjalan dengan baik[baca: Akses Bagi Perlindungan Anak Dibatalkan, Facebook Dipanggil].

Mungkin sudah saatnya Indonesia pun mendirikan lembaga pengawas keselamatan anak-anak di dunia maya. Pasalnya selama ini sudah banyak terjadi kasus kejahatan akibat Facebook di berbagai daerah.
